Courage doesn’t always roar.  Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, “I will try again tomorrow.”
~ Mary Anne Radmacher

I am a licensed Reading and Language Arts Specialist in the state of Vermont with over 13 years of experience working with children from elementary to high school. I have experience collaborating with families and teachers and understand the workings of 504 Plans and IEPs across a variety of settings.

After earning my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Alberta, Canada, I attended McGill University and earned a Diploma in Secondary Education. I earned my Master’s in Reading and Language Arts from the University of Vermont. In order to better understand structured literacy, I became a certified Level 1 Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner and have completed over 100 hours in the Orton-Gillingham Approach to reading. The Orton-Gillingham Approach is a direct and explicit, language-based, and multisensory approach to teaching reading, writing, and spelling.

Family and Community

I enjoy hiking, hot yoga, reading, dogs, and spending time with my family.
